We're thrilled to announce that this fall, we will be offering EMDR Basic Training in Sacramento, CA & IN-PERSON! 🌟

Presented by Roy Kiessling, LISW (Master Trainer) and Leona Kashersky, Psy.D. (Consultant in Training) of EMDR Consulting and Healing Pathways Psychological Services, Inc. This EMDRIA approved 2 Part training is a comprehensive series will provide participants with all the coursework and group consultation hours required to Integrate EMDR into your Clinicial Practice. Registration fees include all the basic training materials, the required 10 hours of group consultation, unlimited access to EMDR Consulting's training materials, i.e., videos of the entire training, demonstration videos, worksheets and brochures and a EMDR focused discussion listserv.

(Scope of practice: Clinicians may begin utilizing EMDR in their clinical practice after Part 1. EMDRIA EMDR Certification may be pursued after one has completed the entire Basic Training, i.e, lecture, practice and the 10 hours of consultation. Please note, additional individual consultation hours are required to complete the full certification requirements.)

This two-part series, held over two weekends spaced four weeks apart, is designed to give participants the practical experience needed to start integrating EMDR into their practice effectively.

First Weekend: October 18-20

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Day 1 (Friday): Background, Stage 1 Affect — Practice calm place/container

  • Day 2 (Saturday): Stage 1 - Target planning — Practice target planning

  • Day 3 (Sunday): Stage 2: Processing — Practice processing, lightly cover reevaluation

Second Weekend: November 15-16

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Day 4 (Friday): Stage 2 - Processing interventions and emotions — Practice processing

  • Day 5 (Saturday): Additional applications — Practice resourcing/wrap-up
